In this blog, I will share my learnings and insights from attending the session on "" Why You Should Apply To The Meta Community Accelerator Program!"". Before I get into the insights, I'd like to tell you a little bit about the META Community Accelerator Program so that those of you who are unaware with it can get an understanding of it through this blog.
About: Meta Community Accelerator Program
The Meta Community Accelerator Program is an engaging, immersive initiative to help admins advance their leadership skills and utilize Facebook tools to deepen their community’s impact.
Throughout the four-month program, selected participants will receive training from experts and coaches through a customized curriculum to help them organize and strengthen their community while connecting with community leaders from around the globe. Participants will also gain access to Meta tools and services to support them in their efforts to activate their members. Each participant will receive a grant of up to $40,000.00 (USD) through grant management partner GlobalGiving to fund work that advances their community goals.

Getting Back to the point ,
It was Fantastic session 💡 by Ritu Mukherjee {She is a Community Strategist & Community Builder. An early adopter & practitioner of Community-led Growth in the Indian sub-continent.} and Avani Parekh {She is a community builder standing at the intersection of tech and empathy. Currently she is at Meta, supporting community leaders around the world through coaching, programs and certifications.} on 👇 "" Why You Should Apply To The Meta Community Accelerator Program !""🚀
Throughout the session, I learned several things about the communities & approaches and principles that can lead to a strong foundation for the communities so that they can prosper and flourish in the long term.
Here are few Key Takeaways from the Session , which I think will be beneficial for all the Community Managers/Builders/DevRel Out there .
• The art of being Natural : Vulnerability is an Opportunity ,Embrace it. 🚀 (This interesting observation came from Ritu Mukherjee mam's application of last year, which she shared with us.)
• Don't Undermine your community .Be assertive about it's IMPACT.
• The two keys to build anything worthwhile are : Passion CLarity and Process.🛠
• The Power of Community-led, learned about how to empower the community members to build with you, so that Community growth and engagement will scale exponentially.
• Understood the dynamics about how communities can enable their most passionate members to help build their communities.
• Got to know the stochastic of building a lasting community that will be healthy and thriving for the long haul. 🔥
• Grow Relations, Build Community FROM relationships not ON relationships.
• Community Management is 60% : art and 40% : Science.🧠 Art of Making Relations and Science of Creating Count from them.
